Advanced Cosmetic Dentistry & Technology, Stanwood, WA

You can feel comfortable knowing that you've now found a dentist who makes porcelain veneers that look fantastic and lifelike! There are a lot of dental offices that say they make great looking crowns, veneers and bridges, though it's difficult to know for sure without seeing the results first.

Smile rehabilitation requires careful study, experience, attention to every detail, plus world-class artistry to create lifelike smiles. Our office has been delivering advanced cosmetic services since 1999. The difference between our practice and others is that Dr. Rafoth continues to innovate dental care, plus he incorporates evidence-based techniques to restore your smile.

Highest Quality Dental Labs
Another huge benefit for our dental patients is that we only use the finest materials and the exact precision provided by local area labs.
• Issaquah Labs is one of the premier dental restoration laboratories in North America. It's capable of producing your entire crown, bridge and implant needs. Cascadia Dentistry creates a majority of our patients' cosmetic dentistry with Issaquah Labs. They're located just south of Seattle, WA.
• Past President of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Laura of Laura Kelly Dental Studio has provided high-quality cosmetic restorations for our patients at a reasonable cost.
Modern Dental Care Technology
Digital x-rays
Digora FMX We use digital x-ray sensors instead of traditional photographic film. This is an improvement for patients because we bypass chemical processing and have the ability to digitally transfer and enhance your images for more accurate diagnosis. Further, less radiation is used to produce your image compared to conventional x-ray technology.

Laser cavity detection
Diagnodent Even the best x-ray technology cannot detect certain cavities. That's why we provide laser cavity detection with the Diagnodent. This instrument can identify weak, deteriorated areas of your teeth, even when it appears that there is no visible cavity. The Diagnodent also detects your cavities at their earliest onset. What that means to you, is earlier treatment and often less invasive treatment to keep your teeth intact.

"The Wand" anesthesia system
The Wand by Compudent With little to no discomfort for getting numb, our patients consistently comment about how simple and comfortable our anesthesia delivery is for them.

The Wand is a microprocessor-controlled device that decreases any sensation of "getting the shot" and dramatically reduces post-operative pain that's normally associated with a traditional syringe injection.

Identafi 3000 Cancer Screening System
Identafi 3000 Cancer Screening This is the new standard for oral caner detection. Identifying oral cancer before it reaches an advanced stage is important. Oral cancer is on the rise, thanks to human papilloma virus (HPV).

With the increased risk in the general population, we were interested in offering our patients the best way to screen for the disease.

So we now offer the Identafi 3000, a visible-light instrument that can differentiate between healthy and abnormal oral tissues. This technology is comfortable for you and more effective than traditional cancer exams.

Drill-free fillings
We offer both laser and air abrasion cavity removal. With laser, your cavities are virtually vaporized, which means very little to no discomfort during care. Air abrasion uses a stream of air and a fine sand to gently scour away a cavity.

As one patient remarked, "All of my life I have been terrified of the dentist. I dread every appointment. Today, my teeth were cleaned, smoothed, and I had two small cavities taken care of, and without any tears!" --BH
